EN ISO 20471 Class 2 standard is an international standard for high-visibility clothing, designed to ensure that people working in high-risk environments can be clearly seen. The standard divides high-visibility clothing into three levels: Class 1, Class 2 and Class 3, based on the minimum area of background material and reflective material on the clothing
Specific requirements of the Class 2 standard:
Background material: Class 2 clothing must have at least 0.50 square meters (about 775 square inches) of background material. This material is usually fluorescent colors such as yellow, orange or red to enhance visibility during the day
Reflective material: Class 2 clothing must have at least 0.13 square meters (about 201 square inches) of reflective material. This material can reflect light back to the light source, making the wearer more visible in low-light conditions or when illuminated by headlights
Design requirements: Class 2 clothing should have at least one reflective tape around the torso and reflective tape on each shoulder strap. The width of these reflective tapes must not be less than 50 mm (2 inches)
Application scenarios:
